What are the advantages of booking online?
By booking online, you can be sure to find the clubs and accessories you have chosen at your golf destination.You will travel lighter and with a calmer mind, without having to worry about delivery delays, breakage or theft of your own sticks and without incurring excess baggage charged by airlines or taxis. It is much more convenient and simple to travel.
Can I change my booking?
A booking confirmed by Rent2Play.Golf is final from the moment the credit card payment is accepted. If you wish to make any changes, please contact us as soon as possible,indicating your request. We will do our best to respond to your needs depending on available stocks and deadlines with respect to your arrival date. However, if you are within the period in which changes are permitted you will be able to log into your booking on the website and make the changes you wish to make.
Can I cancel my booking?
A booking confirmed by Rent2Play.Golf can be changed under the following conditions:
More than 10 days before your booking start we will refund 100%.
10 days or less before your booking start 50% will be refunded.
And less than 2 days before the booking start we can't offer you unfortunately any refund.
What happens if I arrive late or if I want to extend my stay?
Please contact us as soon as possible to change the dates of your golf stay so that we can accommodate your needs according to our available stock.
When will I receive my booking confirmation email?
The email confirming your booking will be sent immediately after the credit card payment has been accepted. It will indicate that your booking has been accepted and confirmed.
Where can I return my golf bag at the end of my stay?
Before leaving for your return flight, you have to return your bag to the place agreed at the time you made your booking.
How can I make a reservation for a group?
It is considered a group booking from 7 sets onwards. If you cannot book directly online, you can request a quote by emailing booking@rent2play.golf and we will respond as quickly a s possible.
BILLING
Can I get an invoice for my booking?
Of course, once you have completed your booking and returned the golf set, you will receive an invoice for the service in your mailbox.
When will my credit card be charged for the booking?
The charge is made automatically when your booking is confirmed by our system.
CLUBS
How many sticks are in each set?
Rent2Play.Golf will provide you with a golf bag and between 9 and 12 clubs. All sets include a driver, fairway woods, rescue club, irons, putter and bag.
Are your clubs from leading golf manufacturers?
Rent2Play.Golf is proud to supply the latest golf equipment from leading golf manufacturers. Our suppliers include leading names such as TaylorMade, Callaway,MD Golf, Mizuno and Wilson.
Can I buy the set of clubs I have rented?
Yes, of course, as long as you send us an email via contact of our website. We will inform you as soon as possible about the procedures and the best price offered to buy the rented clubs.
RENTAL
Can we rent golf clubs during our stay in Mallorca?
Yes, we offer golf club hire in Mallorca. In Mallorca we can offer you both basic and upgraded clubs.
Where are the sticks delivered and collected?
We can deliver the clubs to your hotel/accommodation or to the golf course.
Are sets suitable for left-handed and women golfers?
Yes, we provide rental clubs for both left-handed players and women, and can even help with juniors if needed.
LOSS OR DAMAGE
What happens if the rental club set is damaged, lost or stolen while in my possession?
Each customer is responsible for the golf equipment during the rental period. Rent2Play.Golf will charge your payment card for the replacement cost of any item that is not returned. Damaged equipment will be assessed and charged to your payment card.
Can I protect myself against loss or damage to the clubs?
Yes, you can protect yourself against loss or damage to rented clubs. We charge 10€ per set per rental. This covers you against breakage and damage to the clubs. If a club is lost or stolen, an excess will apply. Cover is provided during the booking process.
What happens if I don't return the clubs on time?
In case of non-return of the equipment on the scheduled date, additional fees will be charged to your credit card in accordance with the general conditions accepted at the time of booking.
ON THE GOLF COURSE
Can we walk or do we have to take a buggy?
Generally you will have the option. However, be aware that it can get very hot in Mallorca and for many, walking during the hottest months is not an option. There are many special offers including shared buggies. Walking is not recommended in July and August as it can get very hot. We are always on hand to advise you on the best buggy or walking courses.
Will I need a handicap certificate?
Although all courses are obliged to request official handicap certificates, most courses do not.
BEST TIME
What months are considered low season for golf in Mallorca?
The months of December, January, July and August are considered low season in Mallorca, so you can find great deals in those months. There is also a mid-season in many courses, which can be February, May and September.
THE WEATHER IN MALLORCA
Which are the hottest months in Mallorca and which are best avoided?
Many golfers avoid the months of July and August in Mallorca, as the weather can often exceed 35ºC. The best time to play in these months is in the early morning,before the heat of the day.If you decide to play during the hottest months of Mallorca, we advise you to play in the early morning and late afternoon to avoid the midday sun.
What type of clothing should I wear?
There are not too many strict rules regarding the dress code for playing golf in Spain.All shirts must have a collar, so no T-shirts. Trainers are not allowed and soft spiked golf shoes must be worn. Tailored shorts are acceptable for both men and women.In most cases, you will have nothing to worry about, as long as you are sensible and look smart.
