On 24 May 2025, the 13th Mallorca Olympic Triathlon will take place in Colònia de Sant Jordi, Mallorca. This prestigious event attracts athletes from all over the world who want to take on the challenge of the Olympic triathlon. Organised by Best Centre Sports, the competition promises a unique experience in one of the most beautiful regions of the Balearic Islands.
The disciplines at a glance
The triathlon comprises three disciplines:
1. Swim (1.5 km): The swim course runs along the stunning beaches of Es Carbò. Participants start on the beach next to the small harbour of Colònia de Sant Jordi and swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean.
2. Biking (38 km): After the swim, the athletes move to the transition area, which is located in the main car park next to the harbour. The flat and fast bike course leads through picturesque Mallorcan landscapes with long straights and gentle curves. The roads are closed to traffic, which makes for a safe and enjoyable ride.
3. Running (9.3 km): The running course runs through parts of the city and along the coast, with views of the island of Cabrera. The finish line is located in the palm-lined pedestrian zone on the seafront promenade by the harbour. After crossing the finish line, participants can enjoy a paella party.
